neb: Another word for nose.
“Just you keep yer aul’ neb out of this.”
It is also used to mean a nosey (or sometimes cheeky) individual:
“What wis that wee neb askin’ ye?”

A neb can also be an instance of being nosey or prying:
“Is she no back from the toilet yet? She must be having a neb round upstairs.”
To neb is to pry into other people’s business; be inquisitive:
